Apache/PHP recompilation with IMAP (c-client) support is a straightforward procedure - all that needs to be done is to log in to WHM, go to Software → Apache Update, click on "Load Previous Config" button (if exists), check the checkbox on the "Imap Module" line and then click "Start Build" button at the bottom of the screen. In about 30 minutes you'll have Apache/PHP with enabled IMAP support.
